About time i assigned an issue to @chrism so here it is, the hardest of them all!

Some stuff i have considered but am not totally convinced by:

Hypertools
Pagedit
Publissh
Typeset
Uptype

I think we could do ok in the search rankings for those.

Happy if the name is completely abstract too or unrelated to the product.

I must admit i am a little attached to the ht program name as it is so easy to type, but i will just alias it later if needs be!

Just thought of Hypertouch too. Turns out if is an Adidas table tennis bat! 😆

Some alternatives to consider Websync and Uplink.

Thought of Webink too a quick search just reveals a naff web design company.

Then there is Codex which is the binding part of a book and much of the original inspiration came from books so this is appropriate but likely the real meaning will be lost on many people.

Closing as done, we have settled on uwe for Universal Web Editor and have the domain name uwe.app.

@chrism, my final thought on this for the moment is that maybe uppercase characters for the logotype might be appropriate considering it is an acronym? Don't mind either way though if you think lowercase is better :+1:
