### Learning Outcomes
* Learn how to access and use CryoCloud
* Open CryoCloud and clone the ICESat-2 Hackweek website
### People Developing the Tutorial (content creation, helpers, teachers)
* Wilson Sauthoff (content creation)
### Summary Description
In this tutorial, we will begin with some background on CryoCloud and what working in the cloud means. Then we will walk through how to access CryoCloud, demo how to navigate the JupyterHub tools in CryoCloud, and talk about tips that will help you best work in the cloud. Our workflows for how we store/access data and compute needs to be different working in the cloud than when we work on our personal computers to take full advantage of the cloud. To finish things up we will walk you through cloning the ICESat-2 Hackweek Website so you can get some quick experience using Git and gain access to the tutorials for the rest of the workshop.
### Dependencies (things people should know in advance of the tutorial)
Make sure you have signed up for CryoCloud using the [Getting Started](https://book.cryointhecloud.com/content/Getting_Started.html) page. You will need to have filled out the Getting Started Survey and accepted our Github invitation to the CryoCloud organization to be able to access CryoCloud. You can test if you have successfully accomplished this by going to [hub.cryointhecloud.com](https://hub.cryointhecloud.com), click the orange `Log in` button, and type in your github username and password. If you do not receive a giant `404 error`, you have successfully gained access to CryoCloud.
I was planning to include an overview of how to add extensions, showing how to access jupyter-collaboration for co-coding, and how to configure the jupyter-ai tool. Sound good?
