Discord not opening

Discord won't open after trying to install Shelter. Install instructions seemed a little unclear but I created a new folder, named it app.asar and renamed old folder to original.asar. Pasted files into the new app.asar and fully restarted discord.

It seems like you already had a client mod installed. Are you trying to use both or just shelter? If just shelter then:

1. Rename the app.asar folder to app
2. Rename your _app.asar file to original.asar
3. Delete the original.asar folder in case there's nothing you need in it

Hi, you shouldn't need to make any folders yourself.

If you're using another client mod as ioj4 suggests, that'll be more complex, but for just shelter:

• download the repo zip and extract it
• copy the app folder from injectors/desktop into resources
• delete your folders named app.asar and original.asar
• rename your _app.asar file to original.asar

You should end up with something like

• resources
  • app
    • index.js
    • package.json
    • preload.js
  • bootstrap
  • build_info
  • original.asar

This is not an issue with shelter and as there has been no activity since support given I will close this.
