I'm very interested in using this code as a fan interceptor which scale a fans tach. I don't want to fake the output entirely, just scale it from a real fans output to something higher.

For example replacing a 3200rpm fan with a 2800rpm fan and have the software correctly read the out at different PWM.

Is this a feature in the current version? Or is the fan output 100% fake?

This would be really interesting, more if in addition to the scale you would also be able to offset it.
