UI Elements Issue 1.4.0 #8

Having just updated to 1.4.0 (on a private server in case relevant); I am now seeing a text "JOURNAL" in the top left corner which was not there earlier today and it does not go away (before the update of this mod, so I think it is connected as I don't believe anything updated for me today). Furthermore the CHAT Window is no longer fading away but remains on screen (which as we well was not the behaviour of my game/UI just some hours ago with 1.3.1 I presume). Please help!

Updated: Reverted to 1.3.1 and not having the issue there, so must be related to this mod and 1.4.0.
