note: there's currently a bug in the react-use-pip package that prevents the pip state from being correctly set when the exit pip button is used in the browser UI. I have a PR to fix that here: https://github.com/DawChihLiou/react-use-pip/pull/11. If it doesn't get merged in a timely manner, I can publish my own version or find a substitute.
