3 years ago first of all your patch breaks down the translations for autotools
i don't want to use meson in my projects. it gives me a lots of additional work without any of visible benefits. but i can add it as an optional feature with two conditions - if it don't breaks existing infrastructure and if someone will maintain this build system
This PR provides the Meson build system. This is a modern build system thought as a modern replacement for Autotools.
Disclaimer : I wrote this long ago and rebased onto master, I may have missed some changes since then. Please review the code :)
