Unable to input upper-case letters via TouchPal #413

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set TouchPal as default input method
2. Open a session with ConnectBot
3. Try inputing some capital letters

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The lower-case letters are shown in ConnectBot.

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?
Phone: HTC Hero GSM
Android: 2.2.1 (CyanogenMod-6-12162010-NIGHTLY-Hero)
ConnectBot: 1.7.1
TouchPal: 14040

What type of system are you trying to connect to?
Ubuntu 10.10

If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?
$ echo $TERM
screen
$ uname -a
Linux sah-xps8100 2.6.35-24-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 2 02:41:37 UTC 2010 
x86_64 GNU/Linux

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried both by wiping and by using the cap-lock button. Neither of them 
works.
I am not sure whether this is a bug of TouchPal or ConnectBot, so I am 
reporting to you both.

Same problem. And there's no problem with russian upper-case letters.

Seriously? I thought this has been fixed... And I am the guy who reported this 
issue by the way.

Now I am using a Google Galaxy Nexus, version of TouchPal is 5.1.5.18189 and 
ConnectBot 1.7.1 2010.10.08. I can simply input upper-case letters by swiping 
upwards. Hoping that helps.

I still have this bug with ConnectBot 1.7.1 2010.10.08 & TouchPal 
V4.8.6_ONLINE_GLOBAL_30346 which BTW is the last version I see available in 
google play (at least for my Android 2.3.5).

Same issue. Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747, Connectbot 1.7.1 2010.10.08, Touchpal 
4.8.7.  Works fine with Samsung keyboard and Hacker's keyboard.  Pasting 
capital letters works fine.

WITH CURVE NOT SELECTeD YOU CAN HAVE CAP LOCK ON
