Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Disable password and keyboard interactive authentication on SSH server
2. Try to connect to the host using ConnectBot, do NOT enable any keys.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected one attempt and then stop. Instead ConnectBot tries to use these
method over and over.

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu ->
About in the Host List)? 1.7.1

What type of system are you trying to connect to? openssh-5.8p1-1 on Cygwin

Please provide any additional information below.

This flaw makes it impossible to log into your Amazon AWS EC2 instance.
Resolution of this issue means I can leave my laptop at home a lug around my
moto xoomie! Yea!

Having the same exact issue. I cannot connect to my home server via SSH because
I have it setup to not accept a password.

I don't think anyone is listening! PaderSync SSH works better but has a goofy
keyboard. I guess you get what you pay for, right?

Problem still exists in snapshot ConnectBot-git-master-2011-12-19_18-30-54.apk
(master 2011-12-19_18-30-54).

A fix would be much appreciated so we can all use our AWS accounts...
