Sadly, it's definitely not undetected. At this point I wonder if it EVER was. This function is wrong in every possible way!. That is actually interesting point of FOSS. That was a bug, that was uncaught for over 4 years and tons of people actually pasted it without thinking. I saw "my" code in someone's youtube tutorial and other projects as well. My bad, i was young back then. I won't fix it, but be aware of it.

Leaving this issue open, so more people may see it.
