2 years ago If we're going to be monitoring the battery voltage via ESP32's A/D converter anyway, we can issue warnings via software in various ways when the voltage starts getting low, and "shut down" when it's too low. I'm not quite sure what "shut down" means, bit it might include:
- disable 5V power to servo motors after putting hexbot on its belly
- disable 3.3V power to PCA9685 controllers
- put CPU into low power sleep mode
According to the guy with the Swiss accent, you need an under voltage circuit when using a power tool battery because this circuit is in the power tools moth the battery.
