Reported by hp279 on 21 Sep 2015 14:10 UTC Environment: Windows 8.1. Professional, 64 bit Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers. Version: Mars Release (4.5.0). Build id: 20150621-1200 Vaadin Plug-in for Eclipse 2.3.5
Vaadin 7 Designer for Eclipse (Beta) 0.8.2.201509160908

  1. Create vaadin 7 project.
  2. Create vaadin Design. Save. Stay it open. (or close it and open after reopening eclipse)
  3. Close Eclipse.
  4. Turn off networking.
  5. Open Eclipse.

Result: Error message appears (many times!): "Error: the Designer editor failed to load system browser. This might be because of the security settings in the browser. See http://vaadin.com/designer/faq for more information."

This error message cannot be closed. Clicking on Ok is not help. New and new error message appears.

Sometimes it can be closed, but new error message appears: "Caught exception while executing HTTP query: tools.vaadin.com"

Please, look at all screenshots for this defect.

If to turn on networking again - it is not help.

Comment by John Ahlroos on 27 Oct 2015 19:18 UTC This is not a Designer bug as the error is originating from the Vaadin Plugin and not the Designer. This can also be reproduced without the designer. See forum post https://vaadin.com/forum#!/thread/11340921 for stacktrace.
