remove outdated Travis embed
update compatibility listing, release link, and copyright years
add expanded notes about Vaadin Spring 1.3 compatibility

VaadinServletConfiguration

add back V8 style path handling (without PushState handling)

correct snapshot version
fix the project to compile with Java 11 (with Java 8 target)

VaadinSessionScopeTest

add teardown to cleanup the session from thread local
switch to use static imports for Assert and Mockito methods
