My error was missing HXCCP_VARS and yes i did see kadedev's website on installing packages,i tried pysch engine too , when i compiled, it didnt make the exe andfor html it didnt work the .html file and no it wasnt the normal error
I saw a tutorial on how to fix that specific error. (Edit: I looked all over YT and I think they deleted the video or smth idk)
Can you help me then?
In exchange, can you compile a few mods for me?
You set up Visual Studio 2017 with the things that it asks you to install right? Or else you get Warning: Could not find Visual Studio 2017 VsDevCmd Missing: HXCPP_VARS Error: Could not automatically setup MSVC
Also, could you link me to the source code that you compiled from?
You installed MSVC v142 - VS 2019 C++ x64/x86 build tools and Windows SDK (10.0.17763.0)? (Note: Some mods require you to get more stuff than those 2 bc of different versions of Kade or Psych that they use so that might be the problem.)
Also for adding bigger files and folders that Github says "Frick you, the file size is too big to currently add to the repo.", use Github Desktop. I use to add stuff to my repos that Github says "God damn it, these files are too big." when you try to upload them on the web. https://desktop.github.com/
@Juarez2010 i do have github desktop xD
not sure about MSVC v142 and sdk, but i do have vs(dont use it) and vs code(personal preference)
I do have MSVC v142 , getting sdk now
now i can finally make a mod xD.
@vackyton For Github Desktop, Just add stuff to the folder in C://Users/YOUR_USERNAME_HERE/Documents/Github/REPO_NAME (ex: BiggerFNFModAttempt2) and push the changes online from the app.
You might also have to get VS 2017 or 2019 and install those things in there. (The tutorials from BrightFyre and bbpanzu usually recommend VS 2019 while some people might have 2017 bc they got a windows 10 in that year)
I know how to use github desktop
Hope that can help you!
