Based on paper reading, I think 3'UTR has great contribution to the half-life and half-life is a primary driver of protein expression. So, I do correlation analysis between predicted half-life and observed in-vitro protein expression. However, the two statistics have significant negative correlation. It sould be positive in theory, right?
I am trying to analyze the resasons. I am wondering whether you have done the same analysis? Any suggestions? My 3'UTRs are from various sources, human, mouse, virus, etc. Could Saluki generalize to different apiece species?
