Is the live view started on camera when you press the LV button? Did it work
before the last update?

1. Did not work on previous version, but this is a new install.
2. LV on camera states "cannot start live view at current settings or under
current conditions"
3. DD says " the exposure program mode is [scene mode] or [usermode].
4. With Nikon utility the live view does function. (installed after DD)

Thanks for any help!

Live view will work, just before you enter live view switch the exposure mode
other then scene mode or user mode. After you are in LV you can switch it back

Thank you! Set it to manual and it started up. Then able to switch modes as you
said.

Yes, I've had this problem. There maybe other causes but mine was from turning
the wireless remote control state on. In that mode all the display resources
are dedicated to broadcasting not displaying. You can use your wireless app to
see instead of your display or turn that state off.
