firmware model not detected on samsung galaxy ace #60

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install bcmon on a samsung galaxy ace 1
2. run the app as root
3. firmware model not detected

i got the menu:
firmware model: not detected
installed tool version: 0 
installed fw version: 0

and a "send logs" button

the system is android 2.3.3 with a kernel 2.6.35.7

phone model: GT-5830
