beta 38 not working, likely dns issue

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install beta 38
2. connect to vpn provider, i tried 2 different
3. access any page via chrome or firefox

What is the expected output?
web page

What do you see instead?
nothing, chrome indicates dns lookup
vpn connection disconnects after a while

What version of Tunnelblick are you using? On what version of OS X?
os x mountain lion, beta 38

configuration file and the contents of the OpenVPN Log window (including
the first few lines with version information), but remember to remove any
sensitive information such as IP addresses.

reverting to beta 36 and the vpn connection works again as expected

Try using OpenVPN 2.3.1 (on the Preferences panel of the VPN Details… window).

It looks like OpenVPN 2.2.1 not only doesn't work, it messes up the computer's 
network setup (and perhaps other things).

Restarting the computer, followed by the use of OpenVPN 2.3.1 only (_not_ using 
2.2.1) seems to work OK.

A new beta of Tunnelblick with 2.2.1 "fixed" should be released in the next 12 
to 24 hours.

Tunnelblick 3.3beta40 should fix these problems.

It includes only 32-bit versions of OpenVPN 2.2.1 and 2.3.1.
