earpiece not working #742

hi

i can make internal calls on my asterisk system from one extension to another 
(which is my android)  but when i answer no sound comes out of the earpiece 
when held to head,  it seems to jitter in and out, but if i put the call on 
speaker phone it seems to work fine?  using htc desire, froyo 2.2
