New PBX Linked To Google Voice fails to connect #751

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download Sipdroid 2.0.1 beta
2. Click button "New PBX Linked To My Google Voice"
3. Window switches to Sipdroid home screen
4. "Please Stand By While Your Account is Being Created" appears
5. "OK" Window appears
6. Connection status appears yellow (Registering...)
7. Connection status appears red (Registration failed (Timeout) )

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the icon to appear green and it to connect immediately.

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
2.0.1 Beta

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
I have used Gizmo5 and that works, but PBXes will not connect. My PBXes
account appears to be configured correctly.

Which type of network are you using?
Verizon 3G, and tested WiFi

Please provide any additional information below.
When registering, what is the difference between the "Password" field and the
"Sipdroid Password" fields?

Password is your GV Password (also your PBXes account password), and Sipdroid
Password is the password that will be used for the PBXes extension (different
from your account password).

I, too, have this issue (MotoDroid CM6.1.0RC4)

Due to a misconfigured firewall PBXes could not accept TCP connections on port
5060 for the last 14 hours. Sorry, and thanks for your reports.

I still get a blank error and sipdroid won't register at all. I have a Samsung
Epic 4g (Galaxy S).

My issue has been resolved. I changed nothing, just deleted my account on
PBXes, and cleared the settings in SipDroid. Then I clicked the create account
button and I was up and running in a few minutes!
