just figured mine out. i had changed my password on google voice. password
needs to be changed at pbxes.org for google trunk. make sure the password you
use in creating your pbxes account with provided link in sipdroid app matches
mathces your google voice password.

When you altered the password to the correct one did it immediately work or did
you have to wait awhile?
Original comment by jkame...@gmail.com

With the recent revocation of the Sipdroid automatic account creation/setup--I
had to manually create an account at pbxes.org--as well as manually set up the
Trunk/Outbound/Extension settings.
I have a "green dot" on my Android status bar--but I can make no outgoing
calls: I get the female-voiced "Call cannot be completed as dialed..."
recording. My password hasn't changed, so that should NOT be the problem.

You need to have the google voice trunk installed. You can not do this
manually without paying.
Original comment by tj1...@gmail.com

I *have* paid for the "Soho" subscription--which is what allowed me to
(manually) set up the Google Voice Trunk (and other settings). I get the
"green dot"--but can't make any outgoing calls ("Call cannot be completed...try
again later").

Yes. This will solve your issue. Simply visit www2.pbxes.com and sign in. Then
find 'Personal Date' section and select 'Delete Account'. You will be required
to enter your password again and also a description/reason. After deleting the
account, you will receive an email stating you have deleted your account.
Afterwards, on your phone, find your 'Application Manager' and uninstall
'SipDroid'. After uninstalling completes, visit the 'PlayStore/Market' and
reinstall 'SipDroid'. After completion, create a new pbxes account using the
application. Be sure your SipDroid password is the EXACT same as your Google
Voice password. This WILL resolve the issue. Any questions, feel free to
comment. Hope this helped. Thanks.

Well, I have set up my sipdroid account, linked to GV, and turned on WIFI.
Then, Pbxs account shows Gtalk trunk set up already. Then I see my ser and
passwrd (which matches GV) and some dial rules... So,I can make calls no
problem. But when attempt to MAKE INTERNATIONAL CALLS, I get "CALL CAN NOT BE
COMPLETED AS DIALED PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER". Is there specific way to call
internationally? should I change the dial rules to something else? Am I missing
something for international dialing? I have tried country code, city code, both
toguether, + sign before/after, zeros all over, every way possible... Any help
will b appreciated.

Is it possible the issue is I have two step verification on and need to
generate an application specific password?
Original comment by dionysiu...@gmail.com
on 22 Nov 2012 at 2:04
It was an issue with two step authentication. I went under my
accounts.google.com/security and set up an application specific password for
pbxes. I used THAT password for ALL fields requiring a password in both the
PBXes configuration site and in the config fields for Android.

#23 appears to be correct, however I only needed to provide the one-time
password in the "Trunks" configuration. In PBXes.org, on the left select
"Trunks". There should be a Trunk created by sipdroid called "GTALK/[your
google identity]". Enter the one-time password in the password box.

I just started having this issue today. I have had a working account for about
2 months, have not changed anything, until this error began. Since then I have
generated a new Application Specific Password, entered it in the trunk
configuration, as well as changing my PBXes.org password, so I can log in.

i also have the same issue. i changed my password on pbxes.org to match my

re-created pbxes account. but i still can't make outgoing calls. how can i
solve this problem?

count me in as having the same issue. I have tried everything I can, even
going as far as deleting my PBXes account, uninstalling SipDroid from my
Samsung. I reconfigured PBXes as I have in the past, except for outbound
route I see two new or different fields; route password and extension. I've
tried leaving those fields blank and I tried using my Google account
password and the extension (number only as in "200", not "username-200".
I'm stumped

also having the exact same message as dbird1 and dion, pbxes working fine for
months can no longer make outbound calls. inbound calls are fine, reset pbxes
account, deleted sip droid setup new account, reissued all new account specific
passwords, used my main google password, reset all the password fields so they
ALL MATCH and still nothing. am able to echo test on *43 also. noticing
resetcdr and playback noted in my call log everytime i try to make a call.
submitting changes to personal information worked one time yesterday but when i
started continually having the problem this no longer solved it. very
frustrating, when the service works it's great but when it breaks it really
breaks badly.

I've switched my GV trunk back to simon's GV gateway - works just fine with
both inbound and outbound.
Which means that this issue is PBXes/Asterisk specific.
I wish there was a hosted Yate provider (this is what simon's gateway is
running) similar to PBXes. That would be a more reliable option.

Register at https://simonics.com/gvgw/
Once done you will get the server, username and password. Use them in your

For what it is worth, PBXes forum posts seem to admit there is a problem,
although a temporary solution (for paid users) was to change to a different
gateway (www1), but even that is now failing. The statement on the forum (from
what may be a PBXes employee, so one has to remember that the statement could
be self serving) said that GV seemed to be blocking outgoing calls from PBXes.
No ETA provided. It would appear that moving to a different service provider
is the only current solution/mitigation.

Thank you stevenle. I was able to use that gateway to create a SIP trunk from
PBXes, this allowed me to keep all of my extensions in place. Both inbound and
outbound routing are working properly again.

I have been having the same problem with not being able to place outgoing calls
for the last 2 days (getting the recorded message "Your call cannot be
completed"). I finally changed my server from www4 to www3 and I have been able
to make outgoing calls again. I earlier tried www2 and www7 which also did not
work, but www3 worked for me.
To change your server, login to PBXes.org, go to Personal Data (found at the
left-hand column), and click on Timezone::Datacenter. You will see a long list
of locations and their www# servers. Select a different server and then click
"Submit & Start" at the bottom of the page.

I just started having this problem today. Idk if something changed with google
voice app recent update. This is my primary and only calling service. My google
password wasn't changed. I tried updating my pbx account info and that didn't
solve the problem either as it usually does. I uninstalled app and deleted my
pbx account as well to see if starting off anew would help but no. Same result
as before.

Try the solution in comment #39. Of you have any advanced configuration
options in PBXes that you do not want to abandon, set the new sip trunk up in
PBXes, and change your default routes to reflect this change.

Inbound calls still work so I've found that using Voice+ (i.e. Google Voice

more steps per call, but hopefully pbxes fixes the issue soon
