Newer versions (2.3 and above) Unable to process 401 response from Sonetel

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install 2.3 or above version of Sipdroid in Android phone.
2. Try to register with Sonetel
3. Sipdroid unable to process 401 response from Sonetel
4. Able to register successfully with 2.0 and below versions.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Sipdroid should register successfully. But it's failing with timed out.

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
Tested Sipdroid 2.3 and 2.4. Tested with Various models of HTC, Sony ericsson 
and Samsung phones with Android 2.2 and 2.3 OS.

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
Tested with Sonetel. 

Which type of network are you using?
UDP

Please provide any additional information below.
We have found it's failing with Sonetel. Might be it may fail with other 
service providers also.

For testing you can use following credentials.

Username: testuser2@sonetel.org
Password: sonetel1

Your older clients worked well and newer versions are not working. We have 
confirmed this with different Android versions and different phones.

Can you please let me know why it's invalid?
