Step 2: Track work progress with workflow statuses

Statuses tell you and your team how work is (or isn't) progressing on a task.

• When new requests arrive, the status is set to "New"
• Assignees should change the status to "In Progress" once they begin working
• When the asset is ready, the assignee should change the status to "Review"
• The Assignee starts ad hoc approval or uses pre-configured automated approval workflow. Learn more here
• Approvers make their decision and task status is changed either to "Approved" or "Rejected"
• The Assignee closes out work on approved tasks and sets the status to "Completed"
• Rejected tasks should be set to "Cancelled" or should be set back to "In Progress"
