What are the scripts in the gtfs folder for exactly? #1105

The Readme is not clear what they are for. Does Valhalla use them for trip planning with schedules and stuff? If so, how exactly does it interact with the route planner? I'm going to be be honest and say that I haven't read all the documentation in the docs folder, so if it's there, can you point me in the right direction. please? I would be so pleased, as I'm working on a project to unify the public transportation data in my country, which right now is a mess, as one needs about 100 apps on a smartphone to go from the North to the South of the country, and that's what we are trying to solve.

@Rui-Santos this was the original design for a POC. I will be deleting this directory to remove any confusion.
