If you're really building 3.0.9
, you may have more success building from latest master. The 3.0.9
release is rather old right now and we're stabilizing the last few features before making a new release.
If it indeed is latest master you're building, a backtrace from gdb would be most appreciated!
I have the exact same issue. I've tried numerous times with different values of "concurrency" and "max_cache_size". I've tried with 2 recent (< 1 week) planet pbf. I'll try to produce a gdb backtrace tonight. My machine : 6 cores / 12 threads, 16gb RAM, 16gb swap.
This PR should fix this issue https://github.com/valhalla/valhalla/pull/2488
@ianthetechie can you pull from master and confirm that you are not crashing now? Thanks.
@gknisely I can confirm you that a pull from master fixed my issue.
thank you @manufont
Sorry for the late reply, but it looks like the issue also no longer appears with the latest planet dump from a few days ago. Thanks, all!
My apologies if this is a bit vague; I know this has come up in several variations before. Let me know if you need anything to help troubleshoot.
