Custom dialogs #2

The built in PyQt error dialog is neither pretty nor provides all the
options preferred.  Custom dialogs should be created.  These should include
dialogs for displaying recently created images.  QLabels will be used for this.

I have had some problems linking custom pyQT dialogs up with the main window and
having them work.  I have one other idea, but I am putting this issue off so 
that I
can work on some other issues instead.
