23H2 compatibility question #3935

Hello, I'm running (not by choice) 23H2. EP was working fine up to a week ago. Today I noticed that it was gone. Nothing the rt-click on taskbar menu and all desktop menus have reverted to those ponderous winn 11 things. I tried installing the latest version with anti-virus off and all you recommended exceptions configured. The desktop blanked, as usual, and then came back but no evidence of EP being installed.

Is this the expected behavior? Can it made to work? or should I wait for the 24Hn update?

EP works in the admin account (was already installed). No longer works in User account. Removed Bitdefender, disabled Defender, rebooted, tried new install as admin. still no change in taskbar menu, i.e. no "properties"

created new user in admin group. Installer fails there also
