Enable the long tail

Every online community that operates in the long tail mode offers tools that allow anyone to easily find stuff to do and and take it.

We need to provide these tools to our affiliates. The idea is to start small, gather feedback, and improve. More to come about the ultimate system...

Another basic idea is to add more functionality to the "virtual space" (a place that integrates a lot of functionality and provides a unified user experience). Example of such space is the www.SENSORICA.co website.

DISTRIBUTE WHAT'S NEEDED NOW

1. Create a page associated with every project that shows active tasks and other current needs, as well as their descriptions, and a mechanism for people to commit to a task, a purchase, participate in an expense, etc. This page will be embedded (using iframe for now) into the virtual space, more precisely, into every Project page. 2. Create a page for every affiliate that presents his/her/it involvement (work, financial contributions and other...). This page will be embedded (using iframe for now) in every affiliate's profile page in the virtual space environment, for others to see. 3. Embed My work page from NRP into every affiliate's profile page in the virtual environment so that affiliates can manage their involvement right from the virtual environment. No requirement for this...

Is #1 something like the work and needs panels on the home page? If so, we need to figure out what those buttons should do. For example, they could send an email notification to a Sensorica email address, cc'ing the sender, which could start a conversation to engage the sender.
