Search of labnotes #35

Potential opportunity: Some sort of search function for previous labnotes, for people working on something and wanting to know some history. Could make use of the structure inherent in the labnotes (vs the old google docs). Could make use of tags or similar. Discussion stage, not currently a priority.

It would be fun if it looked at your lab note and listed on the bottom similar labnotes, like perhaps this previous work can be of use?

Being able to find labnotes is crucial, I think. It is already something that deliverables of R&D processes have labnotes associated with them, if they were properly created/logged. Here's an example http://valnet.webfactional.com/accounting/resource/148/ where the prototype was created a the end of the R&D process. You can find the labnote associated with it in its history.

Find past labnotes Normally, the content of Labnotes will be exported to a content management tool, our Information and knowledge management system. http://valuenetwork.referata.com/wiki/SENSORICA%27s_information_and_knowledge_management_system But it is also important to to trace back original ideas proposed by members during R&D. For this reason, we need to be able to search and find Labnotes.

Find active labnotes Imagine SENSORICA having 2000 members. If I start working on something I might want to know if someone else is also working on something similar. If so, we might want to coordinate our work, reduce time, save resources.

What about a way to visualize labnotes, a graphical representation, based on their relationships. For example, someone wants to see the labnotes created in the context of a specific product development.
