TPM version of T440P is 1.2, TPM version required for Windows 11 is 2.0. Maybe this requirement can be changed in the final version.
Note: T440 (whitout P) have the bios option PTT (Intel Platform Trusted technology), this is a TPM 2.0 by Intel. I don't know why this option doesn't exist on the T440P
Correction: T440P has this option with name IntelTXTFeature
. Apparently this is the TPM 2.0 option
I have the IntelTXTFeature
enabled and Windows 10 detects the TPM version is 1.2.
Windows 11 supposedly needs a minimum of TPM 1.2, but 2.0 is recommended.
Although it seems like I won't be able to upgrade to Windows 11 because my processor (Intel Core i5-4300M) isn't supported yet. I guess I'll just have to wait until they do support it ๐

Hey ๐, TPM should be disabled because no real Mac has it. However, I did not notice any effects when the module is active. So I think it's safe to have it enabled.
On the readme.md i see that the Security Chip must be disabled. With Windows 11 coming and needing TPM enabled, i must ask: why does it have to be disabled to install macOS? Is there something that won't run with it enabled?
