[Device Specific] User not able to connect wallet with Valora when user try to connect using wallet connect & symmetric.exchange dapps #1305

Frequency: 100% Repro on build version: Android internal build V1.21.0 Does Not Repro on build version: Test Flight build V1.21.0 Repro on devices: Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (8.0) Does Not Repro on devices: Redmi Note 8 (9.0) , Redmi Note 8 (10), iPhone 12 (14.7.1), Samsung Galaxy A5(7.0), Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro(8.0)

Repro Steps:

  1. Launch the application & redirect to the Home screen
  2. Go to mWeb browser & browse https://celo-walletconnect.vercel.app URL
  3. Tap on the “Connect to Wallet Connect” button & select the “Connect” button
  4. Select the “Valora” application
  5. Now user should redirect to the Valora application & wait for some time & observe UI Current Behavior: “Wallet Connect Example would like to Connect to Valora” screen not displayed & user not able to connect wallet with Valora Expected Behavior: “Wallet Connect Example would like to Connect to Valora” screen should be served & user should be able to connect Valora by tapping on the “Allow” button Investigation: Also we have observed the same issue for the “https://celo.symmetric.exchange/ ” website Impact: User gets blocked to connect with Valora using wallet connect & Symmetric URLs Attachment: UnableConnectWalletConnectVercelapp.wmv UnableConnectWalletSymmetric.wmv

@ValoraQA does this repo on Android 7 also?

Hey @MuckT It's not reproduced in the Android 7.0 OS device. Attchment Verified On Device: Samsung Galaxy A5(7.0)

Hi @MuckT We have verified issue on latest android internal build V:1.21.0 and observed that issue is still reproducible for the wallet connect links :
