Saving settings? #5

Assuming that the extension isn't just bugging out and not saving settings when it should for me, would it be possible to add in saving settings so I don't need to reset it every single time I load a page? One of my speakers really loves to just cut out all the time so being able to pan the sound to the other direction is really useful but it's annoying when I have to do this for every single page load.

Edit: Perhaps I spoke too soon? Not sure what changed but now it randomly does seem to be saving its settings rather than resetting them after every page load like before.

Maybe it's just YouTube not actually reloading the page? When you navigate to a video, it reuses the old video element.

There's no saving functionality here, as the addon was intended to be used for that occasional video that has the wrong sound. If the problem is in your speakers, you'd be better off adjusting the global sound settings in your operating system.

Yeah, that seems to have been the cause. It's just oddly unreliable about when it actually reloads the page or not.

And unfortunately that's not really much of an option in my case. I'd just set Windows to monaural instead of stereo but they apparently removed that option altogether in Vista. And for whatever reason my audio drivers don't seem to properly set balance when I tell it to only play sound out the side that reliably works.
