There needs to be far more equipment with varying ACs, ADs, BCs, crit rate, 
crit mult etc. You have leather but you could have something like this for 
example:

Wool vest, wool shirt, fine wool shirt, superior wool shirt
Cotton shirt
Silk shirt
Leather shirt
Tin armour
Bronze armour
Silver cuirass, reinforced silver cuirass
Gold cuirass, reinforced gold cuirass
Ruby shirt
Topaz
Platinum
Diamond
Tungsten

Also be able to customize these with 2 abilities of choice. So you could add +5 
hp and +5 bc, or +10hp

As for weapons introduce elements so you could have flaming steel longsword, or 
icy bronze sword. Make certain enemies have weaknesses to certain elements. Add 
more status effects like poison strike etc

Late game have like quests which give 3 different types of legendary for each 
equip but you can only choose 1. For example Hercules wristbands (+20 AD) , 
Venus necklace (10%hp regen), hades shield (+50BC).
