Un-expanded special characters appear in various fields #41

Some characters are stored in the XML files as special character expansions, such as = expanding to (equals). There are times when the un-expanded form may appear in various fields.

Workaround: None. Should not affect anything. When saved and re-loaded, will be corrected.

I have not seen this appear anywhere with the latest pull.
