Word does not syllablise correctly #43

abortion gets presented as abor-tion when I was expecting a-bor-tion.

phpSyllable depends on third party resources to define the patterns used to detect syllables. You can find and contact the maintainers at https://www.tug.org/tex-hyphen/ for any specific patterns that are incorrect/missing/exceptional. As a general rule, though, these patterns were defined with accuracy over completeness in mind and there are plenty of missing syllable breaks, as long as there are no excessive/incorrect breaks.
