It is unclear what "Watch out when shrinking your budget" means.

Team's Response

Thank you for your feedback.

We feel that it is intuitive to understand why users should watch out when shrinking budget as this will mean users will have less freedom in adding more expenses. This is because they are more prone to exceeding it with a smaller budget.

Reason for disagreement: Firstly such a statement is not useful because generally speaking, when a person decides to reduce their budget (irrespective of whether they are using your software or not), they are already mentally prepared to have less freedom in their spending. Hence I feel that this should not be included in the user guide to begin with, much less as a warning note.

Secondly, this statement is misleading and could potentially be misintepreted. Taking the perspective of a new user who is unfamiliar with how your software works, ambiguous statements such as these could be intepreted in many ways. Does this mean that once the budget is exceeded, I will be unable to add any more items to my list? Will I still be able to continue planning my trip as per normal? Or perhaps, will my access to certain functionalities of the software be restricted?
