"Unexpected token" error #12

Each time I try to "Apply" this plugin, I got "unexpected token" error and nothing happens. It's a PHP script UTF8 where I'm using it. If I "Apply" in text in a new editor, it works :(

This plugin is abandoned. 4 years without any update to code. We must uninstall and forget it.

Thank you for your post anyway we can still copy paste from the new file. It's a shame it has no update because I love it, it helps me navigate in my code

Specific error message:

Command 'BannerComments+: Apply' reesulted in an error (Unexpected token })

@RafaelLinux: it's all very well saying that, but I as of yet have not found a good alternative.
