formatted banners appearing broken #9

to preface: i'm pretty sure this is some sort of issue on my end, as it's also happening with the several other similar VS Code extensions i've tried. but i can't for the life of me figure out why it's happening or how to fix it, and don't really know where else to ask such a niche question. i also notice this repo's been pretty quiet for a while now, so i hope someone sees this and is able to at least point me in the right direction towards solving this.

when i convert a line/text using this extension (or any of the others, as i mentioned), the formatted output appears somewhat garbled and broken, when using certain 'fonts'. specifically, i only really want to use the "ANSI Shadow" font, which unfortunately is one of the problematic ones for me.

(NOTE: this is only happening in VS Code, as checking examples from the various extensions' description pages in my browser has their examples showing up correctly, but they appear just as broken as my screenshot examples when viewing them from within VS Code itself.)

again, i just didn't know where else to turn for direction towards solving this, so please forgive me if this just isn't the right place to ask.

I bet this is niche since I have never seen it before.

I am not an expert in anything tech anymore but here is what I would do to investigate should anyone else come looking. For OP, sorry I didn't notice this.

this is pretty bizarre. sorry I don't know enough to help more. 18 months late. From a former developer. GL
