[Feature] Display album art instead of generic folder icon in folder view

Description

When the albums are displayed in folder view, only a generic folder icon is displayed instead of the corresponding album art for each folder. It would be great if Vanilla would be able to display the corresponding album art instead of the generic folder icon when in folder view.

Usecase

My music folders are named in current format: "artist" - "released date" - "album name". Sometimes if I have multiple albums under the same artist, it will be much easier for me to distinguish them by looking at the album art. Looking at the entire folder name takes a bit longer.

I concur, while using the artist tab it displays initials over a random coloured background. It would be nice if it showed an album cover thumbnail as an added option (F-droid, N/A)
