messed up album/title sorting #1110

Description

Albums are only by length correct sorted. With every other sorting option (I want it be sorted by year), the order is completely messed up so I don't how it's actually sorted. Already tried with inbuilt meta tag reader and without, rebooted my phone, deleted all songs and added them again. The songs are ordered like on the Album but it seems to me that other options also don't work (but I don't need those). I'm also pretty sure that the tags are fine since both my PC and the Vinyl music player (also from fdroid) work flawlessly in this regard.

Steps to reproduce the issue

I really don't now because I haven't done anything to it except of installing.

I've noticed this too; when I sort by name (artist name, album name, and in artist, album & track view) there are 2 separate alphabetical groupings. From what I can tell, it's not case-sensitive (i.e. Z before a) and not because of sort-by tags. I tried sorting tracks by year, and at least one album was split up. I'm using v 1.1.0 from F-Droid as well, on CalyxOS/Android 11 with a Pixel 2

I tested sorting on a lineageOS device (Samsung Galaxy S5, lineageOS 18.1, Android 11, vanilla F-Droid 1.1.0): sorting worked with my full library and with a selection that didn't sort right on my pixel. While testing on the pixel, I found that wiping the media library fixed sorting, although I don't think it will be permanent.

I followed the instructions and the library looks better now. I am not sure all the albums are there, but definitely they aren't split into two groups.
