Description

I have a mp3 (Battle_05.mp3) that causes the following files unable to be played by Vanilla Music Player.

When the file is on a playlist, it is played normally, but all the following tracks (Battle_06.mp3, Battle_07.mp3, ...) won't have any sound and the time bar doesn't respect the real time. When we play the following tracks alone (Battle_06.mp3 and nexts) , everything is perfectly fine. It looks like something on this file (Battle_05.mp3) causes an issue.

On other devices I have : No issue at all, this issue is only on Vanilla Music Player installed on the Hiby R6 gen 3.

Note that I noticed that there is no need to wait the end of the Battle_05.mp3, when switching to another track during the play of that track, the issue will happen for sure on the other tracks.

I attach a video that shows the issue.

I need help to figure out what is wrong on this particular device Hiby R6 gen 3 that causes some issues with my Vanilla Player.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Steps to reproduce the issue

On a Hiby R6 gen 3 with a perfectly updated Vanilla Music Player (I suppose previous versions won't work) : Loading a playlist containing the Battle_05.mp3 and other tracks after this one. Play the Battle_05.mp3, (even the beginning of the track), the next tracks will have the Issue even if they can be played alone.

Activating "Enable readahead" option in "Miscellaneous features" didn't solve the issue. Activating "Disable Gapless Playback" option in "Audio" didn't solve the issue.

Same for me except, in my case, activating "Disable Gapless Playback" option in "Audio" did solve the issue.

Disabling gapless playback solved the issue for me

Those who have the issue with MP3s solved by disabling gapless playback, this is the issue for you:

We all have Pixel phones. OP does not, and mentioned the option did not solve their issue.

Disabling Gapless Playback didn't solve this issue. I already tested it.

Yes, that's what I said
