[FR] statistical playlists #807

People tend to like knowing some metrics of what they listen (aka top charts):

  1. Most played tracks (by play count)
  2. Most recently played tracks

I'd be happy to see them as playlists/album galleries.

Couldn't find it.

Just can list tracks by popularity. What are the right steps?

The option is in Settings>Playlist (the first one)

Checked thrice, no "Playlist" in Settings. The 1st one is "Audio".

Take the nightly version http://android.eqmx.net/android/vanilla/VanillaMusic-nightly.apk

Pretty sure there is no official update with it yet.

1.0.70 is quite soon, right?

1.0.70 is currently in alpha, i'll tag it soon (so f-droid builds will happen).

The non-alpha play store will probably happen next week.

Closing this as 1.0.70 is in beta and tagged for f-droid.

Note that 'create top 25' already exists in older versions: I only moved the option to a new section.

As andiandi13 mentioned: You can sort by playcount and date added. We do however not support 'most recently played' - but eh.. that's kind of what the queue shows anyway.

Yes, indeed my request is mostly fulfilled, thanks a lot!

I found the auto lists in Miscellaneous.

I tend to like the player more each day ☺ Though my interface-related requests are mostly declined 😞
