Write script to convert tab separated list of metadata info to two tiers

• Goal: being able to perform combined searches for metadata and annotations. IMDI files can be viewed in a metadata tab, but combined searches are still not possible. (Once there was an option from the stand-alone IMDI Browser.
• Format of table: one row per session (= per EAF file)
• In columns are the values for metadata fields
• Column labels are the metadata field descriptor; we have yet to agree upon a useful format for searching in ELAN
• All descriptors plus values should end up in one long string in a single annotation that spans the full length of the EAF file (or really, the full length of the media file) -- how can we obtain this? Directly from the media files? The EAF does not contain a length property or something like that.
• Tier names: Metadata S1 and Metadata S2
• Participant tags for the two tiers can be filled in afterwards by an old perl script

@ocrasborn I understand there already is a big list? If so, where can I get it? Or should I write the script to handle .imdi files?

@ocrasborn Is it from the file CNGT_MetadataEnglish_OtherResearchers.xlsx? Anyway, I will use this list and rewrite some bits if there is a different list.
