When loading/expanding a node in a tree, the icon of the node being loaded changing to a spinner to indicating it is loading. However, there is no node yet when loading the root, and if this takes a long time, the tree appears blank with no indication of what is happening. There needs to be a load mask for the special case of loading the root node
