RSS link in header links to ".Permalink" and results in a 404 when clicking #39

Maybe I'm missing something, but the RSS link at the top of every page links to a non-existent .Permalink page. Is there some configuration I need to add to make it work properly? I tried it with both my site and the example site included in the theme with the same results.
