awk missing issue #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. no awk installed ran script got errors
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
./mkesxiaio_4.1.sh: line 1520: -l: command not found
./mkesxiaio_4.1.sh: line 1523: -l: command not found
./mkesxiaio_4.1.sh: line 1524: -l: command not found

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ubuntu 10.10 (4.1.sh)

Please provide any additional information below.

installed mawk and error still remains - continuing to debug - appears to 
possiblity be related to USB identification (but I could be wrong) - going to 
try going back to old script version

Strange problem, if you sudo awk what happens then ?

or sudo -s
awk 

Could be a path problem as not always path follow when you use sudo

I went back to the old script version which worked, as long as I went for the 
basic options (no ftp etc). thanks
