It is possible to get the wind speed by a request to the Onsala weather server. It is approved to get these readings for SALSA every 30 seconds or so. Eskil has information on how to do this. It could be nice to add, partly for info, and logging (should be in FITS log etc.) but also to warn users in case it is very windy.

Much nicer to get real time wind (and other) monitoring in a webbased UI, see #50.
