Wallpaper does not change on Mate, installing variety from github source #694

Version of Variety 08.12 installed from source cloning github repo

On mate variety doesn't change wallpaper due to this error:

~/.config/variety/scripts/set_wallpaper line 282: syntax error: unexpected end of file

To Reproduce install variety from github

Desktop environment and version Mate 1.28.2

OS name and version Artix linux

Note: using Cinnamon there are no problem
