9 years ago Hi, the error is due to the use of the wrong branch, since you are using varnish 4 you should checkout the branch 4.0 of this vmod and not 4.1

and thx for quick reply. I'm pretty sure that there was no 4.0 branch yesterday :-). I just grabbed it and tried to compile but no luck as just hit somewhat different error:

Running sudo yum install varnish-libs-devel sudo yum update

make: *** [all] Error 2Hi, I've not been able to reproduce this one. If I haven't misread, you have libvmod-curl in the varnish-cache folder. Please try to move it somewhere else, but not in the varnish folder. Also, you are building everything with sudo privileges, is that necessary? With varnish4, when running ./configure, is not more needed the VARNISHSRC spec.

9 years ago Right, my issue was caused by PKG_CONFIG_PATH not by location, when bad PKG_CONFIG_PATH is used with configure it's causing those problems.

I can confirm that ./autogen.sh && ./configure && make is working for 4.0 branch with 4.0.3 varnish

Hi there as suggested by @aondio I'm opening this new issue.
I'm trying to compile this module (branch 4.1) against varnish-4.0.3 on centos6.6 running as a full VM on kvm. After figuring out dependencies installing them and installing newer version of autoconf and then running make I have the following output:
Any ideas what may be causing it?
