Making the VMOD compatible with Varnish 6.3.0 (without deprecation warnings).

This will probably need to become branch 6.3, as the master branch appears to be for Varnish 6.0 LTS.

yes, next week I'll realign all those repos so the branches match the varnish ones

I cherry-picked the first commit, we'll tackle CI in another PR (we need to move to circleCI first)
